About Me

I have university degrees in pharmacy and commerce and work as a medical writer. My husband and I have three boys, aged 16 to 23, and live in the inner-west of Sydney.

The youngest of my boys, Sam, is on the autism spectrum, and the inspiration behind my first book, the Australian Autism Handbook, which I co-wrote with the gorgeous Seana Smith. A new edition of this bestselling book, with new co-author, Kathryn Wicks, was released in April 2013 and updated again in 2016.

I enjoy writing about health issues and am co-author with Seana Smith and Catherine Knox of Beyond the Baby Blues, a much needed guide to emotional wellbeing during pregnancy and early parenthood.

P.S. In case you're wondering about my name (I bet some of you are) it's an O'Reilly family favourite and means 'a blessing'. I think my mum and dad still think it suits.
